    Les populations rurales des communes de Dio-Gare et Bossofala, situées dans les régions de Koulikoro et Dioïla, s’engagent activement dans la restauration des bassins versants grâce au projet PASSIP (Programme d’Appui au Sous-secteur de l’Irrigation de Proximité). Une visite de terrain, conduite récemment par Hamidou Niapogou, coordinateur du projet, a permis de constater les progrès remarquables réalisés par les communautés bénéficiaires.

    West, Central, and North Africa academic Webinar on Adult Learning and Education Priorities: Key Outcomes and Recommendations - Tunisie, Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, Benin, Algérie

    The recent academic webinar brought together academics and researchers from West, Central, and North Africa to discuss adult learning and education (ALE) priorities, focusing on ALE funding in Africa, Participants were broken down into 3 French- and 1 English-speaking groups to discuss strategies for financing adult education in Africa, potential technical and financial partners, and ways to structure interventions to achieve desired outcomes. The agenda has included presentations, discussions, and group work focused on key questions related to funding sources, key actors, and implementation strategies. Participants explored the importance of integrating adult education into national policies, mobilizing diverse funding sources, engaging local communities, and leveraging technical and international partners. The discussions emphasized evidence-based advocacy, context-specific program design, and the use of digital platforms to expand professional networks and share knowledge. The webinar concluded with actionable recommendations to strengthen adult education systems, enhance collaboration, and ensure programs respond to the real needs of adult learners.

    AAEA participa no Acto Central das celebrações do Dia Internacional da Alfabetização e Aprendizagem de Adultos em Luanda - Angola

    No dia 5 de setembro de 2025, a Associação Angolana para a Educação de Adultos (AAEA) marcou presença no Acto Central das celebrações do Dia Internacional da Alfabetização e Aprendizagem de Adultos, realizado no Hotel Skyna, em Luanda. O evento, promovido pelo Ministério da Educação, decorreu sob o lema “Promover a Alfabetização na Era Digital” e reuniu governantes, educadores, alfabetizadores, alfabetizados e diversos parceiros sociais para refletir sobre os desafios atuais e as oportunidades que a era digital traz para o combate ao analfabetismo em Angola. Mais do que uma cerimónia comemorativa, o acto constituiu um espaço de partilha de experiências, debates e testemunhos inspiradores, destacando o trabalho de todos aqueles que têm contribuído para transformar vidas através da alfabetização. Para a AAEA, a participação neste momento reforça o seu compromisso com a promoção de uma educação inclusiva, equitativa e de qualidade, alinhada aos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS), em especial ao ODS 4 – Educação de Qualidade. A celebração serviu igualmente para reafirmar a importância da alfabetização como ferramenta essencial de cidadania ativa, justiça social e desenvolvimento sustentável em Angola, evidenciando que investir na educação de jovens e adultos é investir no futuro de comunidades mais fortes, resilientes e participativas.
