My experience in adult learning and education
I have sadly discovered that the field is overshadowed by formal schooling. Its reception is, therefore, generally low. Unless there is strong advocacy, ALE will continue to suffer neglect. However, working with adults and youths outside of conventional schooling is an exciting experience. It encourages to see adult lives being transformed by education.
