My experience in adult learning and education
I'm currently doing my master's degree in adult learning. My interests in adult learning started when a deaf colleague of mine struggled to obtain her teaching degree because of the unavailability of interpreters. I wanted to expand my knowledge to be able to assist other deaf adults and to illuminate the struggle and isolation. When one gets older, you realise that education is key and that is when you actually want to gain more knowledge and empower yourself.
