My experience in adult learning and education
I have been a Chief Education Officer for material development for adult learners learning literacy skills at the Department of Adult Education for almost 9 years. My role includes pretesting the materials, providing training to literacy promoters, and implementing different adult education programmes in different communities. I am currently a lecturer in the Department of Lifelong Learning and Higher Education at the University of Namibia. My PhD, which I completed in 2021, was on linking the Indigenous Health Knowledge to literacy learning of an indigenous community in Namibia.
