Community education emerges out of people’s experiences and social interests generated within communities. Community Education enables democratic agendas to emerge at local levels to challenge and eradicate oppression linked to exploitation, marginalisa-tion, cultural dominance, powerlessness and violence.

In January 2012, the Green Paper on Post-School Education and Training was released for public comment. It received a great deal of attention from stakeholders in the post-school system.

This booklet tells the story of fishers’ lives and struggles. It is based on the work of the Community Education Programme at CIPSET1 and the Eastern Cape Black Fishers’ Association (ECBFA) over the past three years.

This is a workbook for community learning groups. This workbook has stories and activities that can support groups to explore issues around access to energy in working class communities.

The overarching purpose of this research is to investigate how andragogical assumptions are being implemented in the IFAE program in Debark City Administration. Qualitative case study design was employed to guide this research.

The workbook has been written by the Community Education Programme (CEP) for use by Community Investigators from Missionvale, Veeplaas, Zwide and Soweto-on-Sea.

This booklet contributes to the increasing body of literature, documentaries and popular texts which call for the development of a heightened consciousness about the ecological crisis and the devastating destruction of the Earth and all its life forms.

En fin d’année 2019, DVV International a atteint un seuil dans le travail qu’il a entrepris en Afrique de l’Ouest, et ambitionne de s’ouvrir sur un autre pays. Cette ambition d’étendre son œuvre va s’accompagner de la redéfinition de l’approche de soutiens aux partenaires pour la revalorisation de l’éducation des adultes aux plans politique et technique.
