Environmental Health and Waste in the Community: developing an environmental justice curriculum

/uploads/banner-resources-english.png

This work emerges out of the proposal for the establishment of Community Colleges in the 2014 White Paper for Post-school Education and Training. The idea of establishing a third tier of post-school education focusing on adults and youth not-in-edu-cation and training is the result of a critical analysis of the current state of education. In 2011 of the more than 31 million adults older than 20 years, 7.9 million have no secondary education and a further 10.5 million have incomplete secondary education.
