As part of its project "Promoting Integrated Adult Education Systems in Africa," DVV International promotes adult education through literacy and income-generating activities (IGAs) conducted by members of the Community Education Centers (CECs).

Produced in the municipalities of Kozah 1, Tchaoudjo 1, and Sotouboua 1, the film showcases a sample of the project's activities in DVV International's partner municipalities in Togo.

It features two sequences of women learners at the CEC in the municipality of Sotouboua 1. In the first sequence, the learners attend literacy courses, and in the second, they carry out their income-generating activities, primarily rice parboiling.

In the CEC of the commune of Tchaoudjo 1, learners transform Néré seeds into local mustard, while in the CEC of the commune of Kozah 1, young girls learn the art of tailoring under the supervision of a master seamstress.

In short, the film disseminates best practices from the CECs of Kozah 1, Tchaoudjo 1, and Sotouboua 1, particularly in the conduct of literacy classes and the implementation of agricultural income-generating activities.
