My experience in adult learning and education
In partnership with Future In Our Hands the Gambia, TAD officials are trained on an adult literacy programme called the REFLECT Approach to Adult Learning. This programme focuses on the socioeconomic status of adults attending the sessions. It puts emphasis on the needs and challenges of the participants and their community by enhancing their skills and knowledge on sustainable development. The programme targets mainly women's groups. Currently, this program is integrated in TAD activities in all 28 of its women's groups in the Upper River Region of the Gambia.
