Findings on the State of ALE Worldwide
A Research study on the state of adult education globally was undertaken by the Universität Hamburg, Rutgers University, and University of Technology Sydney examines Adult Learning and Education (ALE) in eight countries. Through interviews with expert informants, the study sheds light on the diverse societal and political conditions impacting this field. Initiated by DVV International and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development in 2022, the authors shared their findings at the June 20, 2023 conference in Bonn, attended by regional directors of DVV International.
