The UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) invites all stakeholders in adult learning and education (ALE) to contribute to shaping the Sixth Global Report on Adult Learning and Education (GRALE 6) through an open consultation that will take place between now and 30 March 2025.

Adult learning and education (ALE) is a powerful enabler, equipping adults with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate rapid change. In today’s world, shaped by global challenges –the digital revolution, climate change, economic transitions andrising conflict – adult learning and education helps learners adapt to crises while also empowering them as agents of transformation.

The newly developed GRALE 6 concept note outlines how the report will explore these pressing issues.
