Join facilitator Kwame Gad for an 8-week journey through Africa’s rich and diverse histories. From architecture and trade networks to religion, education, and daily life, this interactive course offers a decolonial lens on the continent’s cultural, social, and technological developments.

This is more than an 8 week course - it’s a community space for reflection, discussion, and challenging dominant historical narratives. Come ready to engage, learn, and connect with others committed to deepening their understanding of African history.

Establishing literate environments and continuous learning programs is therefore essential for consolidating the skills acquired by newly literate individuals.
