WE’RE CELEBRATING ADULT LEARNERS WEEK

During September we celebrate International Literacy Day as well as highlighting Adult Learners Week (ALW).

ALW has for many years been a time of recognition for our sector, commending adult learners and educators and the pathway of lifelong learning. The sector has had a long association with the themes determined by UNESCO for ALW and International Literacy Day.

This year it is;

Promoting literacy for a world in transition: Building the foundation for sustainable and peaceful societies.
