(ii) Exploring opportunities to build ALE in Africa through ’We are ALE’ campaign; Swedish partnerships; Moja Website, Connection to Agenda 2030

(iii) Learning from recent study in Uganda by Dr Salome Awidi on literacy and sustainability amongst refugees

The Mechanisms of Consolidation of Learning for New Literacy Students

Webinar Description: The skills acquired by newly literate youth and adults can quickly be lost if they are not maintained in a supportive environment. Establishing literate environments and continuous learning programs is therefore essential for consolidating the skills acquired by newly literate individuals. This webinar will highlight concrete experiences from Mali and Côte d'Ivoire regarding strategies, programs, and learning spaces that promote the consolidation of literacy and adult education skills.
